Wednesday Night Dinner and Small Groups
Wednesday Nights: Dinners & Small Groups (What’s Up Wednesday) begins October 14—and there’s something for the whole family!
Each Wednesday, join us in the Family Life Center for a free dinner from 5:30–6:15 PM, followed by groups beginning at 6:30 PM. Along with a variety of small groups and serve groups for adults, there will also be Kids & Youth programming for Pre-K through 12th grade.
Whether you’re looking to grow in your faith, connect with others, dive into meaningful conversation, serve alongside others, or find a place for your kids and teens to connect and grow, there’s something for everyone. Come for dinner and stay for Wednesday Nights at Aldersgate!

Cookie Sunday: A New Time to Connect!
Join us on Sunday, October 18, from 9:30–10 AM for our first Cookie Sundayin the Family Life Center!
Cookie Sunday is a new between-services connection opportunity—a chance to grab some cookies and coffee, catch up with friends, and connect with others in the Aldersgate community. Stay after 8:30 AM worship or come a little early for the 10 AM service and enjoy some time together.
No sign-up needed—just come hungry and ready to connect!
Kids of Aldersgate Halloween Party
Kids in Pre-K through 5th grade are invited to join us on Saturday, October 31, from 4–5:30 PM for some Halloween fun! Come dressed in your costume and enjoy pizza, games, and plenty of fun with friends.
Parents can pick up at 5:30 PM, and then the whole family can keep the fun going at our Trunk or Treat from 5:30–7:30 PM! Bring a friend and join us for a fun Halloween evening at Aldersgate.
No sign up necessary, just come out for a fun afternoon!
A Day to Connect: Women’s & Men’s Opportunities
On Saturday, November 7, both the Women and Men of Aldersgate will have opportunities to step away from the usual routine and spend time connecting with one another. Childcare will be available at the church during both gatherings.
Women of Aldersgate: Ladies Morning Out | 9:30 AM–12 PM
Ladies are invited to spend a fun, relaxed morning together at Aldersgate! Enjoy time with your sisters in Christ while picking up some Christmas decorating tips, making a craft, playing bingo, and simply enjoying time together.
Men’s Retreat at Gifford Pinchot State Park | 9 AM–1 PM
The men will head outdoors for a morning centered around connection, prayer, and time with God in nature. The retreat will include opening devotions, a hike with several prayer and Scripture stops along the way, lunch together (bring a brown bag lunch!), and a closing time. The morning will explore the theme “Voice in the Wilderness,”focusing on hearing God in quiet places, growing in faith and brotherhood, and perseverance.
New Member Class
New Member classes will be held on November 8 and 22, from 11 AM - 12:15 PM.

We'd love to help you build lasting relationships, discover ways to serve, and become part of a church family that's growing together in Christ.

Revolution Youth Fall Retreat
Registration is now open for the Revolution Youth Fall Retreat, November 20–22 at Wesley Forest! All Revolution Youth students in grades 6–12 are invited for a weekend away to spend time with friends, grow in community, and focus on God together.
The cost is $125 per student. Additional details are available on the registration page, and you can always reach out to Jamie and Wendy at youth@aldersgatechurch.net with any questions.

God’s Helping Hands Work Weekend
Our home repair ministry has an upcoming opportunity to serve our neighbors with needs around their homes. Volunteers are welcome to serve for part of a day, a full day, two days, or all three days—whatever works best for your schedule!

Trunk or Treat
Get ready for a fun evening of Trunk or Treat on October 31!
We’re looking for volunteers to help make the event a great experience for local families.
You can participate by decorating and bringing a trunk filled with treats, helping run games and activities, or donating small prizes from the dollar store.

Kid’s Ministry Volunteer Opportunities
Our Kid’s Ministry is growing, and we’re looking for caring volunteers to help create a welcoming place where children can experience God’s love.
If you are able to serve in the nursery or with Sunday School, please sign up below.

October Mission
New Hope Ministries is a nonprofit Christian social service agency that shares the love and hope of Christ by serving neighbors in times of need and supporting their efforts toward stability. They provide assistance with food and basic needs, housing stability, workforce development, transportation, youth programs, and more.
Throughout October, we’ll be collecting canned meals and meats (SpaghettiOs, beef stew, tuna, chicken, etc.), ketchup, kids’ cereal, laundry detergent, and toiletries such as soap, body wash, toothpaste, and more. Donations can be placed in the Connect Area in the church lobby.
Join us as we support New Hope Ministries and help provide practical care and resources for our neighbors in need.
